Big Easy Yellowfin
Tuna Sandwich

Makes 1 serving

A New Orleans favorite made with remoulade sauce, mild giardiniera and yellowfin tuna slices.



  • 1.5 c Mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp Creole mustard
  • 2 Tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 t Paprika
  • 2 t Tabasco
  • ½ t Celery salt
  • Black Pepper to taste


  • 1 4-inch Ciabatta roll
  • 3 oz Mild giardiniera in oil, drained
  • 4 slices Cajun Yellowfin Tuna
  • 2 oz Baby spinach
  • 1 oz Remoulade sauce


  1. For the remoulade: Combine all the ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Chill and hold.
  2. For the sandwich: Slice ciabatta lengthwise and spread giardiniera on bottom half. Place tuna slices on top of giardiniera. Top with baby spinach. Spread 1 oz remoulade sauce on top half of ciabatta and close the sandwich.
  3. Cut in half and garnish with a drizzle of remoulade sauce and a spoonful of giardiniera.
